Apple presents iPod - the ultra-portable MP3 music player

Apple introduces iPod, a pocket size portable MP3 music player with the ability to store up to 1,000 CD-quality songs at thirty times the speed of traditional (USB-based) players.
"With iPod, Apple has introduced the next generation of digital portable music players", said Elias Abou-Rustom, Director of Sales and Marketing, Middle East. "Music lovers everywhere now have the facility to listen to their entire collection from their pocket, wherever they are."
iPod plays up to 10 hours of continuous music, powered by a rechargeable battery. The battery recharges automatically and Auto-Sync downloads personal iTunes for automatic update when connected to a Mac.
Easy to use, iPod is simply operated with one hand. A scroll-wheel allows quick access to music by playlists, artist or song title.
iPod also features customised settings, such as shuffle, repeat, startup volume and sleep timer and ear-bud style headphones have in-built magnets for a high-fidelity sound.
While, for connoisseurs of variety music, a multiple language menu including English, French, German and Japanese enable users to mix and match songs from all over the world.
iPod is available from Authorised Apple Channels and retailing outlets.
