The workshop ran for two days in June at the SABEQ Program offices and was led by consultant Majdi Abu Arja who have extensive experience in business planning and marketing strategies.

During the workshop, participants explored different ways of developing comprehensive marketing strategies. The workshop also encompassed topics such as SWOT analyses, marketing for SMEs and large businesses, and the role of management in marketing.

Furthermore, the participants applied their newly acquired knowledge to various business cases during the workshop and discussed ways in which these marketing strategies could be applied to their businesses.

The JFBPW concentrates on serving businesswomen and increasing their effectiveness through technical and professional support. To that end, helping their members develop and designs marketing plans and strategies benefits the businesses in which these members are employed.

The members can use the specialized skills they have gained to create better business models thereby leading to greater accuracy in analyzing market trends and anticipating customer needs.

"At SABEQ we are committed to the goal of furthering continuous improvement in organizations, sound management systems and institutional mindsets. By supporting JFBPW in their endeavor to empower Jordanian businesswomen, we are furthering our objectives to support business sustainability, expansion and improvement, especially since BFBPW fits in well with our gender integration support. Both factors are crucial to overall economic growth and development."

said Sahar Al Yousef, Solution Leader, Institutional Transformation Solution at the USAID Jordan Economic Development Program (SABEQ).
