The project is credited to the talented team of Dewan Al-Emara (Dubai branch).

According to Mohammad Al Assam, Managing Director of Dewan Al-Emara, the project was inspired by two major elements; one being the dynamic logo of the University itself in addition to the purpose and function of Zayed University as the second: "the hi-tech shapes and materials used are meant to be a reflection of an aspiring modern university's goal of producing tomorrow's generation of Emaratis who are technologically competent" said Mr. Al Assam.

The main function of this futuristic edifice will involve providing technical training, academic media-tech research and IT production facilities as an extension of Zayed University. "The branch will also serve as a well-needed connection between students and the business world" says Falah Alsalman, Dewan's Regional Director "as well as a place for professionals to enhance and build on their technical skills in today's ever-evolving technological environment".

Given that the Zayed University building will be located near the Sufooh Road entrance of DMC, it's high visibility propelled Dewan architects to create an edifice with great care and creativity to enforce its presence as a leading learning centre in Dubai as well as a landmark of design within the Knowledge Zone of DMC.

As a 3-floor building with an area space of 25 000 sq.ft, the building's simple and yet majestically unique structure will surely make many a head turn. "We decided to use durable and sharp materials like steel, aluminum and glass to symbolize the nature modern technology" added Mr. Alsalman. Its sleek chrome curves and glimmering geometric composition certainly evoke the feeling of a place set in the future.
