A broad spectrum of the latest fashion trends, exotic products and items will be on display at the Shopping Fair starting from July 15 until August 31, from 5 p.m. until 12 midnight at the Municipality Fair Ground in Salalah.

The Shopping Fair is being held alongside the Salalah Tourism Festival.

Oman International Trade and Exhibition (OITE), the event's organizer said, "The Shopping Fair hosts over 350 exhibitors ranging from small and medium enterprises from countries such as Pakistan, India, UAE, China, Morocco, Eqypt, Bahrain, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, Bangladesh, Kuwait, and Oman among others. This year's Shopping Fair at the Salalah Tourism Festival outnumbered previous records with bigger participation from Syria, China and Pakistan. We are glad that despite the economic slowdown, SMEs from across the Gulf region have all come to participate at the Salalah Tourism Festival."

"This reflects the various opportunities that abound in Salalah, which is set to be the hot tourist destination in Oman and as a booming industrial region. The Shopping Fair is organized to encourage entrepreneurs from across the region to make inroads into the growing market,"
Hassan Mohamed, Sr. Manager-Festivals at OITE said.

The Shopping Fair offers a wide spectrum of fashion items such as bags, shoes, jewelry, cosmetics, perfumes, furniture, household wares, ready made garments, textiles, wedding dresses, herbal products, carpets, gift items, food, and many more at very incredible prices.

"Shopping enthusiasts in Salalah and the neighboring regions should take advantage of this rare opportunity to shop items and haggle prices at affordable rates," Hassan said.

OITE's Shopping Fair is a launch pad for SME's which are significantly growing in terms of contribution to GDP and creation of employment. OITE, a premier events organizer has been instrumental in generating visitor footfalls at the Salalah Tourism Festival.
