Korea's Ministry for Culture, Sport and Tourism supports and officially participates in Character Dubai 2009

The agreement was signed in Seoul by Abdul Salam Al Madani, President of Index Holding and Chairman of the Arab Asian Entertainment Content Licensing and Lee, Jae Woong, President and CEO of KOCCA.

This event is being held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Majid Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Chairman of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority. Second edition of Dubai International Character and Licensing Fair - Character Dubai, organized by Index Conferences & Exhibitions Org Est, member of Index Holding, is scheduled to be held from 27 to 29 October 2009 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibitions Centre.

The exhibition and accompanied seminars being held in association with this international event concentrate on the strategic plan of UAE announced by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum UAE Vice-President Prime Minister Ruler of Dubai, aiming to attract successful investment and support the specialized exhibitions industry and involve the private sector in all economical, social, educational and touristic fields.

The event opens new horizons for investors and international brand companies from UAE, the region and the entire world to access the region markets that are considered among the biggest countries that import products and services of these industries that worth $10bn.
