The ECSSR sign a protocol agreement with Electronic City of Bahrain

The delegation was headed by H.E Dr. Abdelaziz Able, H.E Abdullah Bin Khalaf Al Dosary, members of Bahrain parliament and members of the counseling committee at the Electronic City, Dr. Ali Al Ibrahim, General supervisor of Electronic City project and Ms. Rehab Shareef, president of the Electronic city project.

Dr Jamal Sanad Al Suwaidi discussed with the delegation the activities of the Center which cover different fields of its specialty in the service of decision making or scientific research or community service. H.E briefed the delegation about the objectives of the Center and the organizational structure. Dr. Jamal Sanad Al Suwaidi talked about the varieties of publications and their fields targets. Dr. Jamal Sanand Al Suwaidi have discussed about the important strategic regional and International issues and the Center's role in the process of decision making.

Accompanied by officials, the delegation took a tour in the different departments of the Center. It visited the Media department where Mr. Mohammed Al Ali, Manager of the Media Department and Head of the Media committee, gave the delegation a brief presentation about the department and its daily activities.

The delegation also visited the U.A.E Federation Library which is considered to be the largest library in the U.A.E specialized in politics, social, economy and other fields. The delegation was impressed by the Center and wished it more progress and prosperity.

During the visit, the Bahraini delegation signed a protocol agreement with the Center, which stated that publication should be exchanged between the two in the fields of interest along with researchers.

In addition to writing research on issues agreed on; exchanging visits and invitations to conferences organized by both parties and exchanging scientific and research information..

Mr. Ahmad Al Estadh, manager of Strategic and Economic studies department briefed the delegation about the department; Abdullah Al Suwaidi manager of the HR department and training section briefed the delegation about the department and as for the information about the website it received it from Amal Al Hadabbi, manager of the information department.

It is worth mentioning that the Electronic City is consisted of critical projects such as Electronic University of H.M King Hamad Bin Essa, Electronic Royal Library, Royal Electronic Center for Training, Bahrain Center for Electronic Studies and Womens Royal Center.
