Montblanc launches men's fine jewellery for the Middle East
- United Arab Emirates: Saturday, July 18 - 2009 at 11:02
- PRESS RELEASE
Luxury goods manufacturer Montblanc, announced 'Montblanc Men's Fine Jewellery Collection' four best-selling designs are newly rendered in 18 carat gold that has been intriguingly combined with both man-made and natural materials.
This allows light to "dance" inside, creating exceptional fire and sparkle. Innovated in 2006, after eight years of research and development, the Montblanc Diamond pays homage to the mountain Montblanc - a symbol of the highest standards of perfection and art - and is now the centre piece of two pairs of 18 carat gold cuff links which are precious adaptations of the sought-after Floating Star design from the Montblanc Urban Walker collection.
Upon the originals, the white Montblanc star appears to "float" in transparent resin set on a black lacquered nest upon each cuff link as though it has been suddenly captured cascading through a night sky.
This look was inspired by the Montblanc Star Walker series of writing instruments. It features the white Montblanc emblem suspended in a transparent acrylic pen cap. Now, the Montblanc Diamond sparkles within similar pellucid resin adorning the new 18-carat gold cuff links and here, the crystal clear backdrop adds strength to the gleam of the Montblanc Diamonds that sparkle upon two pairs of cuff links in 0.22 carats and 0.06 carats per set.
Classic round cuff links from the Montblanc Men's Fine Jewellery Elegance line are also produced, for the first time, in 18-carat red gold, while their signature - a hand engraved rendering of "Montblanc" as an annular "frame" motif - borders the embellishment of shimmering, silky smooth halos of pave diamonds totalling 0.60 carats per pair. These are sumptuous jewels for the discerning gentleman.
Finally, a woven bracelet will lend panache to a sharp suit or casual sporty clothes. The sought-after piece from the Mont Blanc Men's Fine Jewellery Silver collection has been richly reinvented with Entwined threads of 18-carat red gold and lush black rubber.
The woven bracelet's new interpretation, however, remains true to its initial inspiration. The functionality of rubber - and the utilitarian air of the finely crafted magnetic clasp - lends this piece a manly, avant-garde flair as well as a sense of ease and total versatility.
