Etihad Atheeb Telecom 'GO' announces hire of Eng. Zaid AlShabanat as new COO

In his new position, Eng. Zaid will be responsible for developing and leading the network and information technology in the company. This new position was created and approved by the board of directors of the company.

Dr. Ahmed bin Abbas Sindi, CEO of "GO", said:

"The creation of this new position is a step forward to ensuring the commitment of Etihad Atheeb Telecom Co to empower the executive level within the company, and to develop a strong structure enabling the company to move forward towards operational excellence by attracting the best Saudi human resources in kingdom and the region."

Eng. Zaid AlShabanat has a successful track record and wealth of experience accumulated over the last 20 years in marketing and sales, management, and networks operation. He has occupied various key positions in his successful career. Previously Eng. Zaid led the role of Network Operation General Manager at STC, as well as his role within the Telecommunication Sector in the Ministry of Interior.
