Kia posts 30pc rise in Q1 sales in Qatar

Qatar's Kia Motors authorized dealer, Al Attiya Motors and Trading Co., has said that sales of Kia's cars had increased by 30% in the first half of 2009, compared to the same period of 2008. Hussein Abbas, Kia Motors Marketing Manager of Al Attiya Motors and Trading Company in Qatar, said the economic crisis has a positive effect on Kia Motors. He said Kia's sales in the medium vehicles category rose by 106% year-on-year, and by 71% in the 4WD vehicles category.
