"The Expedia Insiders' SelectTM 2009 Award" is dedicated to the winning hotels that generate the highest number of votes through a survey that the website runs at a yearly basis.

On the same, Mr. Christian Renailter, the hotel General Manager says: "This award means a lot to me and to the hotel team members. It is a nice gesture of gratitude and appreciation from our loyal guests and a result of a fruitful long term business partnership with Expedia ".

He adds:

"Being one of the leading travel websites worldwide, the award coming from Expedia remains important and very considerable. On the same occasion I would like to dedicate this award to my hotel team who made this happen thanks to their hard work and friendly attitude that the hotel guests noticed and appreciated"

From his side, Mr. Walter Le Faro, Expedia.com' Director of Market Management for the Middle East & Indian Ocean, explains: "The Expedia Insiders' Select is probably the most prestigious of Expedia awards - for two reasons. Firstly as the Insiders' Select score is mainly driven by our travellers' opinion combined with the quality/value ratio; and more importantly, as only the top 1% of our hotels worldwide is awarded as 'Insiders' Select'.

He adds: "We are indeed delighted that the Hotel JAL Fujairah Resort & Spa hotel not only made it to this very exclusive selection of hotels worldwide but also achieved the highest score across all Middle East hotels.

"The Expedia Insiders' SelectTM 2009 Award" is today displayed at the hotel Front Office area as a daily incentive to all employees, reminding them that Hard Work and Friendly Attitude in the hospitality world always pay back.

Congratulations to all Seen on the picutre, the hotel General Manager, Mr. Christian Renailter, the EAM, Mr. Rachid Assoudi, a number of the hotel Department Heads and other employees.
