HP attends GITEX 2003 - Saudi Arabia

At the stand HP will be demonstrating live enterprise solutions that are currently installed in leading organisations around the Middle East, as well as new wireless products. HP will also be presenting digital imaging, printing and mobile computing solutions with several new and innovative applications, exhibiting complete end-to-end solutions for every customers need.

HP will continue to offer visitors an opportunity to speak directly with technical advisers whilst at the stand. They will also receive personalised hands-on demonstrations of new products, which will increase performance in any enterprise. HPs experienced team will give the visitor a chance to view specific solutions relating to the finance, telecommunications, oil and gas and government sectors. For the home market, HP will be showcasing consumer notebooks, stylish photo printers and a range of digital ranges

Enterprise Solutions and Services
HP's technology and portfolio of professional services allows enterprise customers to confidently deploy a large number of enterprise solutions. Information and discussions will be held at the stand about HPs latest line-up of servers, from the new Blade Servers and 8 Way Servers to the ProLiant Server. HP for the first time in this region will be demonstrating a new series of servers and storage technologies, which highlights HPs ability to provide the best network for every organisation.

E-Government Services
A key focus area for HP this year is the public sector. Through working closely with partners, HP has the widest IT product and solution portfolio including consulting, customer support and project management. It will be presenting several of these models for e-government infrastructure platforms, which provide a modern Information Society. Thus enabling the public accessibility to government initiatives, procedures and general information via the web.

Mobility Solutions
The demand for wireless and mobile products within the consumer and business market has increased considerably.
HP recently announced a broad range of wireless wide area network (WWAN) products & services that further enable a mobile life style while delivering outstanding Value. HP is offering the mobile users an innovative full portfolio of wireless- ready products. Wireless Ready Notebooks for greater mobility with no sacrifice on performance, the iPAQ 5400 series with integrated wireless LAN, biometric fingerprint Authentication & Bluetooth Technology. HP changed the mobile computing landscape with the introduction of the wireless enabled Compaq Tablet PC.

HP will be demonstrating several mobile devices applications with other wide-ranging HP products.

Digital Imaging
The consumer market has witnessed a huge growth in digital home photography. HPs new photographic solutions make the capture and printing of stunning images a 'one click' operation for the home and office user. With businesses and individuals opting to bring photography and image manipulation in-house, HP continues to push the boundaries in creating easy to use devices, such as the Photosmart 850. HPs range of enhanced photo printers, digital cameras and photo paper will be on show for any visitor with an artistic eye wanting the opportunity to demonstrate their flare, and an opportunity to try out HPs new range of cameras.

Printing
HP will bring the spotlight to its most extensive and innovative portfolio of monochrome, colour and multi-functional printers, as well as its range of micro-portable digital projectors and networking solutions. A wide variety of printers will be at the stand demonstrating the different capabilities; highlights include HPs brand new range of monochrome printers, the LaserJet 1150 LaserJet 1300 and LaserJet 2300. Also launching at GITEX this year will be new scanners including HPs sleekest scanner, the Photoscanner 1200 and the OfficeJet 7100 all in one, as well as the latest large format printer for graphics users and JetCaps solutions for manageability.

Hanania also confirmed that senior spokespeople from HP would also be on hand at the stand to talk with visitors and partners.
