The Al Falah plan comprises five villages, each with its own village centre, schools, and mosques. Located to the east of Abu Dhabi International Airport and the Abu Dhabi-Dubai highway, Al Falah has been designed as a practical and sustainable community within a development area of approximately 12 million square metres.
Moving away from the traditional "grid" approach for developments, Al Falah's innovative design encourages community gathering with a number of open parks that connect the residential, commercial and leisure elements.
Progress demonstrated by the signing of these three contracts is indicative of how important this project will be to the development of sustainable communities in Abu Dhabi.
Contracts have been inked with Al Jaber Building LLC Abu Dhabi, El Seif Engineering Contracting Abu Dhabi and Malaysian firm Pembinaan SPK BHD And it is anticipated that completion will begin by Q3 2012.
Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh, Chairman of Aldar Properties, commented:
"This is an important step in the development of the Al Falah project. Increasing housing availability for UAE families is one of many ways through which Aldar is living up to its mission of building sustainable communities to cater to the growth needs of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi."
Al Sayegh added, "Al Falah is a residential development that creates a strong sense of community, not only by its design but also through the community centres and amenities that will be available for the residents."
