According to the latest report by Business Monitor International (BMI), Lebanon is enjoying an IT boom apart from the conflicts and events of the past two years. The value of the Lebanon IT market reached around $251m in 2008. BMI expects that the IT market will grow at a nominal compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of around 7% over the forcaste period above GDP.
"Despite its political outlook, we believe Lebanon IT sector has the potential to grow and provide good investment opportunities for businesses that are looking to expand their operations. During the event OKI showcased its latest portfolio of colour multi-function products and provided the audience with the opportunity to experience hands on demonstration to better understand what OKI can offer their business.

The products OKI displayed during the event were the MC860, MC560 & C800 series. The MC860 enables businesses to minimize their dependence on outsourced print specialists and produce high quality marketing collateral in-house by bringing together the best modern print solutions with the latest best practice print management techniques. The small footprint, low price and configurability of the new MC860 make it the ideal A4/A3 solution for businesses with restricted floor space and budgets.
As for the C800, the series compresses of the C810 and C830 models, which offers high performance output and provides users with high quality, professional colour printing. Both the C810 and C830 are able to print on a range of media - from postcards to 1.2m banners.
The printers' duplex capability allows double sided printing for brochures and booklets, facilitated by Template Manager 3.0, which enables the creation of a range of professional-looking documents in-house. Both the C810 and the C830 benefit from OKI Printing Solutions' single straight paper path which gives users improved reliability.
On the other hand, the MC560 MFP provides truly integrated four-in-one color and mono capability, ensuring professional quality print and copy performance at low cost. Designed to meet the growing demand for greater flexibility, efficiency and reduced total cost of ownership by small, busy workgroups and SMEs.
