120 Stations have been installed progressively in the different regions and several update operations have been implemented in addition to the expansion of 310 existing Radio based Stations, since February 2009, in order to enhance the quality of transmission, improve the network coverage and increase its capacity to support the subscribers' traffic and growth.
It's worth mentioning that Alfa has been managed by "Orascom Telecom Holding" (OTH) since February 2009. Orascom Telecom is the leading mobile operator in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia. Orascom Telecom counts over 80 million subscribers.
