The new automatic Logan has safety, reliability and practicality at its heart but still keeps - and has improved on - its looks and comfort.
The 1.6 16V engine drives the new Renault Logan with a power output of 105hp (77kW) at 5,750rpm and peak torque of 148Nm at 3,750rpm, and with a top speed of 183kph. This engine not only makes the Renault Logan stand out from similarly priced cars, but provides a smooth and pleasant drive.
"The new and enhanced Logan adds to the existing Renault saloon family which currently includes the Safrane and Clio models available is several versions. Our cars will always provide the key attributes of safety, reliability, comfort and performance. And customers will see and understand the importance of these attributes with the new automatic Logan,"said Mohamed Bennani, Managing Director of Renault GCC.
Those getting behind the wheel of the Logan will certainly appreciate the improvements made to this latest offering from the French automotive manufacturer. Ergonomics have been given key consideration, with a new driver's seat adjustment control. Rear visibility has been improved through the fitment of comma-type central rear headrests and large format door mirrors.
A new contemporary exterior styling and a more attractive and comfortable cabin are added extras to what was already considered a reliable Renault product. The new version also provides cabin space that is unmatched in its class. Last but by no means least, the boot volume of 510 litres is also unrivalled in its category and the boot layout means it's much easier to carry a real mix of different shapes and sizes.
Depending on the model, the Logan PE offers a satin central console, a 5-function on-board computer and electric self-demisting door mirrors for maximum comfort. On the Logan SE, the interior's dark carbon Geneva upholstery is in harmony with the chrome rims and fog lamps, and the central locking doors add more convenience.
On the passive safety front, the new Logan features a new honeycomb structure for the dashboard, which reduces the severity of impact to the knees. Driver and front passenger also benefit from further lower limb protection, thanks to underfoot padding. All Logan seats are equipped with three-point seatbelts and headrests, while the new car is delivered in its upper version with two controlled-deflation airbags.
For extra comfort there is also an adjustable central armrest to ensure the most relaxed journey. And to guarantee for an even easier ride, Renault is so confident in the quality and reliability of every part of the New Renault Logan - they're backing it up with a 3-year or 100.000 km warranty, which means the owner really can relax.
Renault believes that safety, comfort and peace of mind are should always be primary concerns and are dedicated to making Renault owners' and passengers' motoring lives easier and hassle-free.
The Renault commitment to ensuring drivers can depend on them has led to the development of the Renault Customer First program, the first of its kind in the GCC. This 11-point program now comes standard and free of charge with each and every Renault vehicle purchased.
