SBM unveils 'Rational Insight' in region

The innovative solution was unveiled during a Rational Software Conference in Riyadh. The new solution, based on the Jazz collaborative technology platform and built on IBM's Cognos business intelligence software, deploys flexible business processes to improve cross-organizational collaboration - which goes a long way in viewing investments in software as strategic business assets.

By utilizing cloud computing, users are no longer required to manage and maintain costly and complex IT infrastructure that supports their operations, enabling them to focus more on their core businesses and objectives. other benefits include scalability, reliability and lower overall IT costs. This also helps organizations minimize costs while freeing up resources for investments in new projects.

SBM/IBM also introduced IBM Rational Focal Point for Project Management, a new solution designed to reduce the delays and mistakes that hinder software projects from meeting the needs of the business.
