Philips earns nine prestigious design awards at CeBit Electronics Exhibition

Philips was awarded an impressive nine design awards from the International Forum Design in Hanover, Germany held in conjunction with CeBIT, the world's largest consumer electronics and IT trade fair.
The eXp 431 flash product presentation and the MC-i200 flash product presentation won in the Communication category. Both presentations were created as interactive product launch items which visually explain the product features and value propositions in an exciting way.
"Philips is a leader in innovation and design, as we continually seek to develop products that improve the lives of those who use them. This recognition from the International Forum Design confirms that Philips not only meets but exceeds its commitments and as such, encourages us to do more," said Robert van de Riet , CEO, Philips Country Organisation, UAE.
Winners in the Product Design category included the DVD 580, whose look fits harmoniously in any home environment; EM-Emotive Micro-Range, a line of individual and lifestyle-oriented micro audio systems, and iPronto, a single wireless portable device for the home that controls all video, audio and home appliances with the touch of a button.
The other Philips products receiving iF Awards included the Metal 'Cuby' Kettle HD 4603, a softly rounded cube water kettle; MR Panorama Range of 'open' Magnetic Resonance systems; MultiDiagnost Eleva, an advanced all-digital X-ray diagnostic health system, and the Philishave 'Sensotec' 8000 Series razors, which offer increased contour following and improved cutting performance.
