Al Tamimi and Company is hosting a medical malpractice seminar entitled 'Medical Malpractice and the UAE Law' on April 23rd, 2003.
The seminar is aimed at medical consultants and practitioners, hospital management, insurance affiliated executives, as well as academics wanting to enhance their knowledge base in this particular field.
Amongst other things, the seminar will discuss the extent to which legal responsibility can be established on the part of the medical profession in cases filed by injured patients claiming compensations, the concept of professional liability, the challenges of setting up an integrated Health Care Community, the Department of Health's perspective on Medical Malpractice, and the role of the Forensic Medical Examiner in Medical responsibility suits.
Guests will have the opportunity to ask questions, exchange ideas and make their own proposals throughout the event. This will ensure a rich and interesting discussion and an all around constructive seminar.
