A special promotional outlet has been installed to introduce the new product to the public and to highlight the special features of the account. The office, which operates from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm, also provides other banking services.
An innovative, customer-oriented product, Al Waffer investment account was launched by the Bank earlier this month. Al Waffer is classified as a Shariah compliant investment Mudharaba product, with total cash prizes of one million dollars every year offered to participants.
A participant becomes eligible to take part in the raffle only 30 days from the date of opening an account. Monthly, quarterly and yearly cash prizes are offered. The first raffle will take place on 4 October 2009.
