With many different new games and imaging applications available, Software Market will help Nokia users make their mobile more than a communications tool and create a device, which meets their individual tastes and needs.

For the Nokia 7210, new games such as IG Zapper - a fast paced, adrenaline pumping, racing game, will help break the monotony of long taxi journeys. The popular mGolfCard application will also help golf addicts manage their handicap. For the 3650, new imaging software, such as the popular FotoFun Pack, will enhance the capabilities of this, Nokia's first video camera phone.

"The design and features of our mobile phones have pushed forward the boundaries of mobile communications," said Jarmo Hostio, Business Development Manager at Nokia Middle East. "Now, with the new applications available from Software Market, Nokia owners can take this design process one step further and add personal touches to their mobile. By using Software Market Nokia phones can become as unique as their owners. What's more, the business applications available on the site will give professionals an edge over the competition helping them become more effective and efficient."

Software Market is an independent Web site, hosted by Digital River. It contains software for Nokia 3650, 6310i, 7210, 7650 and 9200 series mobiles. Applications are divided into four categories, including business, productivity, content and entertainment. Software is provided to the site by independent developers who create their applications using free downloadable tools and support documents available from www.forum.nokia.com.

"Software for new generation mobile phones is an exciting and rapidly developing industry. Thanks to the Symbian platform, Java and Nokia's Series 60 software, your mobile can be transformed into a completely new device. What is more, if you have software development skills, you can use our free tools available on Forum Nokia to create your own, personalised applications and either keep them for yourself, or trade them over the Internet," Jarmo Hostio concluded.
