Canadian Business Council express great enthusiasm in Palm project

Members of the Canadian Business Council in Dubai were welcomed to The Palm this week to see for themselves how this iconic project, is rapidly revealing itself off the coast of Dubai.

Wahid Attalla, Director of Operations for The Palm welcomed the guests and provided an overview of the outstanding residential, tourism and leisure components that The Palm will deliver. He then discussed the range of other projects that Nakheel Properties are involved in, namely The Gardens, The Gardens Shopping Mall and Jumeirah Islands. Attalla was then joined by Jack Fernandez, Technical Manager -The Palm, to answer a variety of general and technical questions from council members.

Other key officials who spoke at the event include Brian Labelle, Chairman of the Canadian Business Council and Dr Mohammad Alatar, Managing Director of CECNE (a summer school program for 21 young national students to go to Canada each year). The visit was concluded with a tour of The Palm, Jumeirah - total reclamation of this island is expected to be completed towards the end of 2003.

Seen here is Hamza Mustapha, Sales Executive - The Palm, explaining the various elements of the project to the members of the Canadian Business Council. The members showed great enthusiasm in the project and the inspirational vision of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
