Rotana Hotels CEO awarded for Best Management at HORECA

Mr.Selim El Zyr, President and CEO of the Rotana Hotels was awarded the prestigious 'Horeca Premier Award' for outstanding Hospitality Management at the Annual Horeca Awards held in Beirut on the first of April, 2003.
The glittering ceremony at BIEL played host to the crème de la crème of the Hospitality industry. The HORECA awards are the region's largest hospitality and food honours.
"It is an honour and a privilege to be recognized for one's effort by peers in the industry. The award will help me reassert my commitment to set management benchmark standards in the region's hospitality industry" said Mr. El Zyr at the ceremony.
A stalwart in the Hospitality industry, Mr. El Zyr graduated from the prestigious L'Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne in Switzerland and has over 30 years of international experience in the business. A pioneer in Hotel management, he established the first regional hotel management company that caters to the needs of several regionally owned hotels which previously were dependent on international management companies.
Rotana Hotels are the region's largest independent Hotel chain with several properties in the UAE, Lebanon, Syria and Egypt.
