Retail Giants steal the show at Redington's Annual Awards Night

Redington Gulf, one of the leading IT distributors in the Middle East and Africa, hosted its 5th Annual Awards Night at Hotel Intercontinental, Dubai.

The event - paying tribute to its top performing business partners - was attended by over 25 vendors, retailers, and channel partners.

Retail giants from across the GCC dominated the retail awards while small & medium business (SMBs) emerged as the largest segment to show consistent business winners across various divisions. A total of 21 awards were given away across all of Redington's business segments including Corporate, Retail, SMB, Components, and the Value Division.

Carrefour was awarded the "Most Valuable Partner of the Year" award; Yousef Ahmed Al Ghanim & Sons from Kuwait, won the "Outstanding Partner of the Year" award. For the second year running, Achiever Computers, won the "SMB Partner of the Year" award and Cadd Emirates walked away with the "Corporate Partner of the Year" award. Redington Gulf also recognized ECS Distribution with the "Emerging Partner of the Year" award for their outstanding performance over the last 2 years in Egypt.

Two of the largest retails outlets in UAE, Jacky's Electronics and Sharaf DG won the "Excellence in Sales - Retail" awards. The "Special Recognition Awards" based on various parameters was awarded to AIMS (Kuwait), Seenen Information Technology (UAE) and Silicone World Computers (UAE).

Charlie and Viola, the world-renowned acrobat-dance couple, enthralled the audience with an original choreography dance performance known as the "The Adagio Act". The performance, based on the themes of monumental power and beauty of 'robot world' fascinated the audience with breath-taking robotic poses and balance.
