Aqaba Gateway Group named preferred Ayla port bidder

Aqaba Development (ADC) in Jordan has said that Aqaba Gateway Group (AGG) is the highest ranking, qualified bidder for the city's new port. According to the Jordan Times, the Ayla New Port Consortium was ranked as the second highest bidder. ADC has also said it will enter into direct negotiations with the preferred bidder in the coming weeks over the terms and conditions of the development and operating agreement for the new port of Aqaba, aiming to sign a deal in October, should the parties reach an agreement regarding the terms and conditions.
