BankDhofar organizes match in honour of former Oman Football Team players at Salalah Tourism Festival

The match was held at the festival's grounds under the auspices of the chief guest, Mr. Awadh Mohammad Jamaan Al Se'ari, the Director General of Youth Affairs at Dhofar Region, who gave away the BankDhofar Cup and commemorative gifts to the participating players and winners.

The team included popular former players of the Oman Football Team including Hamtoon Jamaan, Fawaz Arafah, Saeed Farah, Mohd Amer, Ali Salim Al Abrak, Abdullah Touroosh, Salim Qasboob, Mohd Ali, Dawood Salim, Yunis Aman, Said Bashir, Faraj Freesh, Rabe'a Al Shatri, Said Faraj, Salim Al Attar, Ahmed Saeed, Ahmed Abdullah, and Khalid Al Lahouri.

Speaking on the occasion, the initiator, a former player and BankDhofar Manager of Saada Branch Mr. Said Bashir said:

"The match was a really exciting event as it drew large crowds and got to a nerve wrecking finish. The Bank is delighted to support this event and endorsing the good work done by the former football players association for promoting the spirit of sportsmanship amongst the people of Oman. This initiative is a part of the bank's overall corporate commitment to support activities of cultural significance to the country."

The BankDhofar stall in Salalah attracts many visitors on a daily basis and it provides an excellent opportunity to meet and interact with customers and the numerous tourists visiting Salalah during the festival season.
