The company provided the latest sewing equipment to 24 students, including sewing and embroidery machines, computers and all other sewing related materials.

Commenting on this initiative, Dr. Diar Ahmed, CEO of Asiacell, said:

"We consider our support to the Erbil Orphanage & Senior Center one of our responsibilities as an Iraqi company that believes in the need for it to have a positive social impact and recognizes the importance of spreading equal opportunities between all Iraqi citizens. This step in particular aims at improving the living conditions of both children and the elderly and allowing them to invest their time in valuable work, making them productive citizens. We hope to remain on the right path through our operations and by contributing to building a new Iraq on both the economic and social levels."

It is worth noting that this step is complementary to Asiacell's ongoing efforts as a responsible national company to provide support to different segments of Iraqi society, as Mr. Faruk Mustafa Rasool, Founder and Chairman of Asiacell, had personally donated $10,000 to support the opening of the Erbil Orphanage & Senior Center.
