Khaleeji Commercial Bank receiving university students in its Annual Training Program

Khaleeji Commercial Bank (KHCB) received a group of university students from various local and overseas universities to do their internship on its Annual Training Program.

The internship is a two-month program with the aim to provide interns with real work opportunities, networking, professional development, compensation and guidance and hands-on experience that they need when entering the work place.

The interns attended an orientation as well as several seminars conducted by the Human Resources department in coordination with other departments.

Mr. Ebrahim H. Ebrahim, CEO and Board Member of KHCB remarked:
"We are diligent in our efforts to promote the Bahraini youth and are very conscientious of our corporate social responsibility to support higher education in the kingdom of Bahrain. We will attempt to impart on this specially selected group of students the fundamentals of Islamic Banking and show them the important role played by the financial sector in the economy of the Kingdom of Bahrain. We are confident that they will appreciate the important personal contribution that each and every one of them can make to the future of their country,"
