In one month, the mall has successfully collected over 80 boxes filled with around 4,000 toys. The response has been so positive that the mall management has decided to extend donations for few more days. Collected toys will go to Association of Early Intervention for Children with special needs, hospitals and child home care among others.

Hassan Jaboub, Manager of Qurum City Centre, says the community response to the appeal has been fantastic.

"We are very thankful to all our customers and their children who have contributed to the campaign. It's a wonderful position to be in to help someone else less fortunate and that is why Qurum City Centre has taken the initiative of being a part of such charitable activities."

The collection box has been placed on the corridor leading to the food court on Level 1 of the shopping centre.
