- PRESS RELEASE
Qatargas has invited members of the public to visit its Road Safety Campaign pavilion at the Amusement Village in Doha Exhibition Centre and try out the roll-over simulator and seat-belt convincer for themselves.
Nearly 10,000 people are expected to take advantage of the entry coupons to be distributed by Qatargas to the public today that will allow them free access to the amusement village which also features a variety of fun-filled games that are payable.
The campaign, launched weeks ago by Qatargas to spread awareness on road safety in the local community, is evoking a huge response among people from all walks of life especially youngsters who are visiting the pavilion in large numbers.
Over the past few weeks, Qatargas invited over 1000 members of various Non-Governmental Organisations and sports clubs to visit the pavilion.
Youngsters visiting the Qatargas pavilion were eager to learn about benefits of adherence to safety rules as they lined up to experience a roll-over simulator which gives the rider an idea of a car rolling over without the motorist being thrown over from the vehicle.
The pavilion also showcases a safety-belt convincer, which teaches motorists the benefit of wearing a seat-belt even at a speed of eight km per hour, in addition to educational films, distribution of literature and explanation of the road safety rules.
