The bank's headquarters and over 200 branches across the Kingdom are now utilising Avaya's communications solutions after the bank replaced its legacy systems with innovative branch solutions from Avaya.

Riyadh Bank is the largest financial institution in Saudi Arabia with a strong and growing corporate and retail banking franchise. The bank has 202 branches spread across the country to serve its customers. Avaya partner Western Electric Saudi Arabia has already installed 90 branches with the IP Office solutions in addition to the bank's headquarters in Riyadh. Implementation at the remaining 112 branches is in progress.

The expansion of the bank's locations, services, and increasing number of customers resulted in the need for a sophisticated yet affordable communications network to facilitate the smooth and efficient flow of information between branches.

With Avaya IP Office, Riyadh Bank is now equipped with a complete solution for conferencing, customer relationship management, messaging, and unified communications for more streamlined and effective communication. As a result, the bank's clientele will benefit from a more tailored approach to meeting their needs.

"The Avaya IP solution enables us to deliver superior service by providing practical options such as conferencing, messaging, and up-to-date information on the bank's latest services and offers to our customers,"

said Fahad Al-Rowaite'e, Administration & Services Manager in Riyadh bank.

"At a time when customer service expectations are on the rise, efficiency is key to survival as is reducing costs, and the advanced IP solutions deliver the capabilities that make this possible," added Al-Rowaite'e.

"The banking sector is facing immense strain to maintain its efficiency while cutting costs and maintaining or exceeding customer standards, and Riyadh Bank is among the leading financial institutions in the region that rely on Avaya for their communication efficiency. Avaya IP Office will deliver robust unified communications to the bank and its customers while scaling with the banks growth," said Fadi Hani, country manager for Avaya in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
