Kia unveils Kia Soul to UAE market

Kia, represented in the UAE by Al Majid Motors Co., has launched the all-new Kia Soul urban crossover passenger car in the UAE, Which has 1.6 L gasoline engines with automatic transmission.

Kia Soul is a cross over vehicle with a unique exterior combined with a roomy interior and multifunctional features.

S.K. Ahmad, Marketing & Business Development Manager of Al Majid Motors, Kia, said:
"The Kia Soul is a brand new vehicle which will challenge customers to free their minds. It is packed with clever and liberating features and will offer cavernous passenger space that matches or even outperforms many vehicles with much larger exterior dimensions."


The economical and high performance 1.6-littre has continuous Variable Valve Timing (CWT) for added power and efficiency. With a lightweight aluminium cylinder block and silent timing chain drive 1.6-litter (CVVT continuous variable value) gasoline engine will be offered in the UAE market.

The engine generates 126 ps at 6,300 rpm and 156 Nm of torque at 4,200 rpm.

Kia Soul is a five-door hatchback with front-wheel drive, a high roofline and an unusually long wheelbase. Overall length is 4,105 mm with a 2,550 mm wheelbase. Overall height is 1,610 mm, the base of the windshield is 135 mm higher than a typical compact car, the hip-points are 120 mm higher and the ground clearance is raised by 45 mm.
