Filipinos to enjoy improved MoneyGram money transfer services

Now Filipinos will be able to receive their MoneyGram transactions in U.S. dollars any time of day. M. Lhuillier is the first MoneyGram agent to offer this improved services in the Philippines. Since April 1, M. Lhuillier customers have been able to receive MoneyGram money transfers through U.S. dollar payout schemes in more than 1,200 M. Lhuillier outlets nationwide—154 locations provide the service 24-hours a day. Transfers may also be completed in as little as 10 minutes, helping receivers maximize the value of both their time and money.

MoneyGram executives believe that the money and time-saving characteristics of global money transfer service now available in the Philippines encourages OFWs to send much-needed money that may be used as capital investment for small and medium scale businesses. This is expected to bring OFWs and their families closer to their goals of securing additional income that will help them cope with the turbulent economic times.
