Cinescape sponsors 2nd annual Kuwait Science Fair

KSF organizers announced today that the competition will return in a second run between September' 09 and March' 10 with Cinescape as a Gold Sponsor, and a continued commitment to engaging and exciting young scientists and innovators into the application and innovation of math and science.

The Kuwait Science Fair was created and founded by ExxonMobil Exploration & Production Kuwait Limited and Kuwait Energy Co. who were united by a shared commitment to generate student interest and excitement in math and science and help inspire the scientists and innovators of tomorrow.

KSF Managing Director Ms. Aseel Al-Turkait, said:
"Last year's KSF was an absolute success and the innovations and creative solutions we saw developed by students proved to us, teachers, and parents that all students need in order to excel is support, guidance and a competitive environment. We return this year with more resources, reach, and excitement."


Cinescape Marketing Manager Ms. Lujain Al Saleh said, "Cinescape has a strong commitment to supporting initiatives that encourage students to develop and expand their imagination. We are very proud to be associated with the Kuwait Science Fair and have a role in inspiring students."

The competition, which is organized by both ExxonMobil Kuwait and Kuwait Energy, is nation-wide and encompasses over 150-high schools from across the country, making it the largest science fair to ever take place in Kuwait.

The Kuwait Science Fair is set to kick-off on September 28, starting with school visits and workshops during the course of the student preparation period that starts from September 2009 till March 2010.

To qualify, students must be enrolled in a local high school, and submit all forms requested, which are available on the competition's website in September.
