Samsung to create state-of-the-art Digital Centre in Oman

Samsung has announced plans to set up a state-of-the-art Digital Centre in partnership with Al-Seeb Technical Est. (SARCO), the company's distributor for Consumer Electronics products in Oman.

The announcement was made during an exclusive 'Samsung Digital Seminar' held in Muscat for over 350 people that included Samsung dealers, business associates and government officials. Samsung also launched its full range of LCD televisions and digital products including Digital Video Cameras, Portable DVD Player and DVD-VHS Combo players.

"As a digital convergence leader, Samsung is committed to extending the boundaries of product versatility and design. With the creation of our new Digital Centre we are ready to empower our consumers in Oman with a whole new world of digital entertainment," said Mr. H.J. Park, Senior Manager, Sales and Marketing, Samsung Gulf Electronics.

Samsung's Digital Centre will showcase Samsung's complete range of LCD Televisions from 15" to 40", its complete range of plasma display panels, including world's largest 63" PDP, digital video camcorders, portable DVD players, home theatre systems, DVD-VHS combo players, audio systems and digital projection televisions. Home networking products such as the side-by-side refrigerator will also be on display.

"This centre will serve as a one-stop-shop for consumers to actually experience digital freedom. Such centres are further strengthened by the presence of our valued dealers network who will provide the necessary support to our consumers in Oman," concluded Mr. Park.
