Management team of Seha welcomes their guests from Supreme Council of Health, Qatar

The Abu Dhabi Health Services Company's (Seha) Ambulatory Healthcare Services (AHS) welcomed Dr. Maryam Abdulmalik, A/Executive Director of Primary Healthcare management, a representative from Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) in Qatar and their delegation to the Ambulatory Healthcare Services centers in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.

The two day visit of the delegation from Supreme Council of Health in Qatar involved meetings with the AHS Executive and medical teams, tours of healthcare centers in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain like Khalifa A and Bain Al Jasreen centers.

This exercise by Supreme Council of Health in Qatar was an effort to witness the superior quality of healthcare centers and the services on offer by Seha through its Ambulatory Healthcare Services and get more knowledge on the successful strategy of turning around the centers from primary healthcare to ambulatory healthcare centers.

The Emirate of Abu Dhabi under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi and direction from His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the UAE has showcased phenomenal growth through big strides in improving the quality and excellence in provision of healthcare services in United Arab Emirates.

This visit was a follow up visit after Dr. Hanan Al Kuwari, Managing Director of HMC visited the Khalifa A center of Ambulatory Healthcare Services during her visit earlier. She was extremely impressed with the scope of services and the layout of the facilities at the AHS center and wanted her team to experience the same.

This also marks the strong camaraderie between UAE and Qatar and an effort by both countries to make the best healthcare facilities available to the community.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Maryam Abdulmalik, A/Executive Director of Primary Healthcare, Supreme Council of Health in Qatar said: "We are very pleased with the visit to Seha-AHS and its centers. The facilities and services offered are on par with international standards and now we are proud that the best healthcare services are available in GCC too. We are also thankful to the AHS Executive team for taking time out from their busy schedule for our visit and warm hospitality extended to us."
