For volume products, namely the commercial solutions portfolio, HP Middle East has revised its agreements with Almasa, Aptech, Jumbo Electronics, Redington, Tech Data and Magirus as a value added distributor. On the corporate end-user business side, HP products are available through key partners like Alpha Data, CNS, Emitac, Intertec, Itqan, MDS, Raqmiyat and Seven Seas Computers.
By selecting pertinent distributors in the region, HP is consolidating its channel in the Middle East. This is an inevitable implementation of HP's worldwide channel model strategy. The new agreements are an extension of an existing history with HP's preferred partners.
'We are pleased to extend our partnerships with these valuable distributors. In selecting our channel partners, we place great value on excellent logistics management, financial stability, HP product knowledge and a history of solid relations,' said Christoph Schell, General Manager of the Personal Systems Group and Commercial Channel, HP Middle East. 'We are confident that HP's consolidated channel has the expertise, on-the ground-support and credit capabilities to cater to our end-users. HP looks forward to a continued leadership in the market.'
The line-up of diverse channel partners ensures HP spreads its product portfolio across the full range of resellers and distributors. Each channel partner offers value through expertise in different product solutions.
Each partner is working in its specialized field. On the volume side, Jumbo and Reddington's selections cover consumer products in the Personal Systems Group business unit, whereas Aptech's new agreement extends across the entire commercial Personal Systems Group portfolio. Both Almasa and Tech Data will be distributing HP's Imaging and Printing Group range, while Techdata will also supply the commercial Personal Systems Group lines. Magirus, as a value added distributor, focuses on business critical systems and enterprise storage products.
On the corporate end-user business side, Alpha Data, CNS, Emitac Intertec, Itqan, MDS, Raqmiyat and Seven Seas Computers bring forth their expertise on HP's range of servers, storage and PC products.
As announced earlier this year, Emitac will distribute HP's entire product portfolio across the Middle East.
