Sheikh Salem Aufait Al Shanfari, President of Dhofar Municipality, will preside at the celebration to be attended by dignitaries and guests, including AbdulRazak Ali Issa, Chief Executive of BankMuscat.

The operetta woven with folklore music and dance evocatively traces the spectacular transformation witnessed by the Sultanate under the reign of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos, punctuated by the significant role played by BankMuscat in national development. Titled 'al Mazyona', the operetta also highlights the Bank's popular savings scheme, which has spread smiles across the Sultanate during the past 18 years. The high-value daily prize draw of al Mazyona savings scheme will also be held on the occasion.

Written by Ahmed Mohammed al Maashani and composed by Madian Ghalib al Shanfari, the operetta will be performed by artistes from the Omani Women's Association branch in Salalah. This is the second year that BankMuscat is organising an operetta as part of Salalah Tourism Festival.

Salalah Tourism Festival, which celebrates the monsoon splendour and cultural heritage of Oman, is supported by BankMuscat as main sponsor. BankMuscat stalls prominently adorn the festival venues, providing the required assistance for people to familiarise themselves with the various products and services offered by the Bank. The Bank has an array of tailor-made solutions to enrich life, complemented by the largest network of 121 branches and 341 ATMs, offering superior levels of banking convenience and connectivity. BankMuscat ATMs dot the festival venues, offering cash and other services to the large crowds visiting every day.

In all the previous editions of Salalah Tourism Festival, BankMuscat has been closely involved with the popular family holiday event. The partnership with Salalah Tourism Festival is an earnest attempt by BankMuscat to propagate the core family values held dear by Omanis, underpinned by the Bank's promise of 'With you, always,'.

Over the years, BankMuscat has contributed through continuous support in making Salalah Tourism Festival a great success. As main sponsor of the annual celebrations, BankMuscat aims to fulfill its commitment to weaving together the nation as a family, uniting citizens and residents in sharing the good times and discovering the joy of being connected with visitors from the Gulf region and abroad. While endowed with a global outlook, BankMuscat remains Omani at heart.
