The Nejd explores European markets

Local luxury candle and soap manufacturer The Nejd hopes to expand its operation into Europe, following the company's successful attendance at the recent Fetes de Geneve in Switzerland.

Eman Al Wahaibi, Director of The Nejd, said:
"The lead-up to the exhibition was certainly one of the most hectic periods I can recall - but thankfully plenty of fun too."

The Fetes de Geneve provided an excellent opportunity for The Nejd team to build relationships with prospective industry contacts and potential buyers, who will provide local support for the European marketplace.

Over the past few years, The Nejd has strengthened its position as a leading manufacturer of luxury candles and soap.

Eman commented, "Our business has built an enviable reputation across Oman and the Gulf by supplying high quality products at competitive prices with swift delivery. To continue our expansion we're now delivering on our strategy to repeat our local and regional winning formula in key European markets."

Eman continues, "The Swiss-based event has provided us with a springboard into Europe, broadening our footprint and ultimately strengthening our business. We're delighted with the contacts we made in Geneva. We're also grateful for the assistance provided by the government - it's with this important support that we can begin to break into new markets."

Commenting on the European economy, Eman said, "The Nejd's brand continues to enjoy strong momentum and is set to gain market share at a time when European retailers and consumers are seeking quality, authenticity and higher intrinsic value. This is an exciting time for the entire company."
