Fujitsu Siemens Computers launches SCENIC E

The new range of PC, which will be available in the Middle East from May 2003, is packed with complex features such as optimized sound levels, high-end performance, wide range of configuration options and increased serviceability. It is a fully configurable system in terms of processors, main memory, hard disks, other drives and add-on boards.

Another major feature of the new SCENIC PC is that it is easy to service, even in the hands of a non-technical person."

The SCENIC E has a service-friendly casing, which provides easy access to all the important components. The hard disk and optical drives as well as all other add-on cards can be installed without tools or screws.

The SCENIC E boasts extremely low sound levels through the use of thermal management to control the fans. It also has other energy-saving features such as the automatic monitor standby function. For the security conscious, it offers an optional SmartCard reader, which ensures data security.

The new PC range can be used as a tower or as a desktop, depending on the requirements of the customer and the space constraints. The USB and audio connections are located on the front panel for easy accessibility.

All the relevant information can be called up when needed, making it extremely service-friendly. This facilitates the work of the administrator and reduces the total cost of ownership (TCO) for network environments.
