The event, which was hosted for the second time this year between July 6 and July 17, saw participation of NEC Computers' partners from all over Europe, Middle East and Africa.

'Get Certified on NEC Solutions and Become a NEC Solution Ready Partner' training course prepares NEC Computers' partners to deliver the highest quality of IT services and solutions in their region. This is a part of NEC Computers' new business strategy for Europe, Middle East and African region (EMEA) to become one of the three leading players on the servers and storage market, by combining the power of innovation, while respecting the environment.

The first session of NEC Certification training was held in Cyprus this year, between March 16 and March 27. Since then, over 40 partners from countries such as Bahrain, Cyprus, Egypt, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia and UAE, have gotten certified to deliver NEC solutions.

Due to the NEC resellers' request and market demand in the region, the second session of the certification training focused on two important NEC business solutions: Virtual PC Centre (VPCC) and Fault Tolerant Servers.

"The NEC Fault Tolerant Server Solution and the Virtual PC Centre (VPCC) are two key pillars of the new NEC strategy. The FT server solution aims to provide customers with easy out of the box 99.999% availability for their applications, while the NEC VPCC aims to bring the benefits of server virtualisation down to the desktop level. The solutions provide features available on PCs today with unprecedented management features. Having our partners trained to consult, deploy and troubleshoot these two solutions is of paramount importance for our ongoing efforts to provide customers in the region with these unique solutions,"
said Pantelis Verginadis, the Technical Sales Consultant and Trainer for the NEC Certification course in Cyprus.

NEC Computers is continuously preparing its partners for customers' needs in the EMEA region by training them to deliver the best IT solutions into integrated packages, reducing purchase costs and TCO, increasing the business performance with respect for the environment and being able to provide stable and reliable services.
