Thai national Phetpiroon joined Dusit Princess having spent the last six years at Dusit Thani in Dubai. During her time there she rose rapidly through the ranks from guest services officer to assistant front office manager.

Wolfi Malik, general manager, of the Dusit Princess City Centre, Dubai said,

"Patcharee is the final piece in the jigsaw. Her experience at Dusit Thani, will be invaluable. Not only her ability to manage the front office operation, but her knowledge of Dusit's inimitable Thai hospitality."

Along with Malik and Phetpiroon, the rest of the executive team is made up of Ghassan Al Khatib, director of sales & marketing and Tracy Mu Rong, food & beverage manager.

Canadian national Al Khatib, brings nearly ten years' regional marketing experience to Dusit Princess after spells with IHC in Saudi Arabia and Rotana Hotels in UAE and Kuwait. The 33 year old is fluent in both Arabic and English and holds a BBA in marketing/managent from Norwood University in Michigan, USA.

New food and beverage manager, Mu Rong, will add important local knowledge having joined Dusit Princess from the Novotel & Ibis hotels in Diera, where she headed up the food and beverage department over the past 12 months.

"We have a strong and well balanced management team. They complement each other exceptionally well - the epitomy of effective team work - an attribute that is integral to Dusit corporate philosophy," said Malik.

Five minutes walk from Deira City Centre shopping mall the four-star property features 120 rooms and suites, exclusive meeting rooms, an all day dining restaurant, a speciality café, gymnasium, swimming pool with Jacuzzi and Juice bar.

According to Malik, "The fit out of the hotel is in its final stages now and we are preparing for the soft opening - a date will be announced shortly."

Al Khatib, confirmed that the hotel aims to attract both budget conscious leisure and business guests all year round. "In terms of corporate business, apart from being close to Dubai International Airport, there are many small to medium size trading companies within the immediate vacinity, making the hotel a viable proposition for value-conscious business travellers.

Al Khatib added, "Regarding leisure travellers Deira City Centre with its wealth of retail outlets and family entertainment is literally on our doorstep. We will undoubtedly draw GCC families especially during weekends and holidays."
