Saudi Arabia closes LBC office

The Jeddah office of Lebanon-based network LBC has been shut down by the Saudi Arabian authorities following the airing of an interview with a Saudi citizen who described his sexual exploits on air. Saudi daily Al Watan said that the network had also had other offices shut down by the authorities. The Ministry of Culture and Information said that the office had been closed as the broadcaster was operating without a license.
