The Hummer H3 V8 is what off-road adventure enthusiasts have been waiting for.
The new H3 V8 combines traditional Hummer best in-class off-road capabilities with an all-powerful 344hp engine for an adventure experience like nothing else.

"Off-road enthusiasts have been waiting for this, and now with a new V8 engine, the most capable off-road vehicle is now also the most powerful,"
said Adib Takieddine, Hummer Marketing Manager.

The new cast aluminum VortecTM 5.3L V8 engine pumps 344hp and puts out a torque of 318Nm at 4000rpm.

The H3 V8's other best in-class off-road features include the steepest approach and departure angles, tightest turning circle and lowest idle speed gearing.

At 37.5 degrees, the H3 V8 has a 12.9% advantage over its nearest in-class competitor when climbing steep slopes. At 34.6 degrees, the H3 V8 has a 19.3% advantage over its nearest in-class competitor when going down steep slopes.

With a tighter turning circle, the H3 V8 can successfully navigate through narrower obstacles than any other vehicle in its class.

The H3 V8 also has the lowest idle speed gearing in its segment, with a crawl ratio of 68.9:1. This provides more control when crawling at low speeds or over large obstacles and provides better braking when descending steep slopes.

"The new H3 V8 will provide the adventure of a lifetime, on or off the road. Now you can push it harder, faster, higher and even lower than ever before. It is the ultimate 'do anything, go anywhere' off-road adventure vehicle," said Takieddine.

The H3 V8 is the newest member in a growing family, including the Hummer H2, H2 SUT, H3 and H3T. Like the other members, the H3 V8 will come with the standard 4-year/100,000km regional warranty.

About Hummer:
Hummer is the fruit of an agreement signed between General Motors and AM General back in December 1999. The iconic Humvee is the original Hummer, the cornerstone of the brand. Its core values are still largely maintained in current Hummer line-up, the most capable line-up of off-road vehicles that don't compromise on luxury.

In the Middle East, Hummer's line-up consists of the H2 which reflected an evolution of the brand making Hummer more accessible to a wider civilian audience upon its launch in 2003; the midsize H3 that widened the brand's appeal to a an even broader range of owners. The H3T with its pick up capabilities complete the line-up.
