The start-up promotion launched at the end of April offers a Friendi mobile starter pack.

"We have had such a fantastic response to this promotion; it is evident that our service is in great demand so we thought it would be fair to let those who haven't quite got around to signing up know that there is only a few days left. Never before has the Omani mobile telecoms market been so competitive and mobile users in the Sultanate will not be accustomed to such generous offers. It's not to be missed"

says Antti Arponen, CEO of Friendi mobile.

Friendi mobile offers three different recharge card values, with the users being able to choose from convenient recharge amounts.

Friendi mobile launched in Oman in April and is fast becoming one of the most talked about brands around. As well as exciting value added services and competitive rates for local calls, Friendi mobile's international call rates are the lowest mobile rates in the market.

"Our rates are highly competitive in today's market and those switching to Friendi mobile from other providers will see a significant saving in their mobile phone expenditure, particularly customers who use their mobiles for international calls to loved ones back home," adds Arponen.

For example Friendi mobile to Friendi mobile calls have a flat rate of 39 Bz and calls to the UK are as low as 179 Bz and India 159 Bz; while Friendi mobile's latest tie up with Idea Cellular in Kerala means even better rates (as low as 139 bz) for calls between subscribers of the respective networks.

Arponen is encouraging mobile phone users to give Friendi mobile a try. He concludes, "You only have a few days left to take advantage of the offer and join the tens of thousands of Friendi mobile users already enjoying the benefits of free SMS and talk time, countrywide coverage and the prospect of more exciting value-added offers in the months and years to come."
