Dubai RTA issues illegal ad notices

Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has served 130 notices to companies that illegally placed commercial adverts misusing the right of way, Emirates Business has reported. The violations include leaving advert spaces unutilized, malfunctioning power generators and signboards failing to match the specifications. 'The RTA will continue the campaign against violators through issuing circulars to advertising companies exhorting them not to leave advert spaces unutilized and to place their logos in case such spaces have yet to be leased' the RTA said.
