KSF Managing Director Ms. Aseel Al-Turkait said: "We're very excited to have KUFM on board as a sponsor. Their contribution will surely help us in resourcing the initiative, ecouraging and supporting more students."
KUFM Deputy CEO Mr. Ahmed Yousef Al Kandari said:
"We're extremely glad to have had the opportunity to sponsor the Kuwait Science Fair in its second year. Being a real estate company we have an inherent commitment to reach out to students at an age when we can inspire them to pursue careers based on math and science, such as engineering and architecture, so that Kuwait can benefit from their talents, whether in the private or public sector."
The competition, which is organized by both ExxonMobil Kuwait and Kuwait Energy, is nation-wide and encompasses over 150-high schools from across the country, making it the largest science fair to ever take place in Kuwait.
The Kuwait Science Fair is set to kick-off on September 28, starting with school visits and workshops during the course of the student preparation period that starts from September 2009 till March 2010.
To qualify, students must be enrolled in a local high school, and submit a full KSF application form, which will be available on the competition's website in September.
