Under the agreement, EDC will provide support with printing, inserting, labeling and dispatching, using state-of-the-art mail fulfillment solutions for ICLP's corporate clients, including leading banks and airlines.

The agreement was signed by Mr. Abdulla M. Alashram, CEO of EDC, and Mr. Simon Humphreys, General Manager, ICLP, in Dubai recently, in the presence of senior officials from both companies.

'ICLP services some high-profile clients whose mail fulfillment requirements are huge and complex. It makes sense for ICLP to work with EDC on these projects because we have developed advanced and specialized solutions which can be tailored to customers' requirements,' said Mr. Alashram after signing the agreement. 'This will enable ICLP to focus more strongly on its core competencies by outsourcing the more labour-intensive process of sorting, personalizing, enveloping and mailing.'

'Since its launch in November 2002, EDC has been adding to its list of customers for its leading edge mailing solutions. Our solution is ideal for trading organizations, banks, insurance companies and any firm that has a high throughput of documents, including invoices and statements. EDC is fully equipped handle complex tasks such as receiving data electronically, customizing it, adding dynamic messaging and images, before printing and dispatching - facilities that will add value to client servicing,' Mr. Alashram added.

'Our partnership with EDC reflects our objective to provide our clients in the region with internationally prevailing direct marketing standards,' said Mr. Humphreys, General Manager of ICLP. 'By outsourcing the routine functions of printing, mailing and dispatching to EDC, we would be able to concentrate more on critical strategies for our clients. We are confident this arrangement will enhance ICLP database marketing and loyalty solutions, an area in which we have been leaders since 1996 in the region, and are servicing clients from the airline, automotive, banking and retail sectors.'

ICLP is the latest company to join EDC's growing list of high profile clients, which includes Standard Chartered Bank, Dubai Bank, Airmiles, American Express and Emirates Post.
