In fact, Fujairah is the perfect getaway destination. Situated on the Indian Ocean, it is a haven of tranquillity and beauty, treasured as a relaxing choice for a holiday.

The attractive setting of the destination and the property has maintained its allure even during the economic downturn. The hotel closed the month of July with 65% occupancy - a strong figure for the present financial climate and August is continuing similarly, currently on course to finish the month around 68% occupancy.

The forecast for Ramadan is projected at between 75 to 80% occupancy and a year-end target of around 78%, which will prove to be a substantial success in light of the difficulties the hospitality industry has faced this year. Ramadan occupancy will also be boosted further by the exciting promotion available at the property.

The encouraging occupancy figures have been achieved by attracting a mix of guests. General Manager, Mr Elie Tohme said:
"At Coral Residence Tower we have all the facilities to accommodate a varied range of clientele."

"30% of our guests are long-staying, taking advantage of the comforts our rooms and suites have to offer for an extended period of time. We also attract 30% corporate guests who see Fujairah as a great alternative destination to do business in, with world-class infrastructure and corporate facilities," he explained.

"Leisure guests who've come to enjoy the unique charm and relaxed pace of the area make up a further 30%, with the remaining 10% of guests being mixed, often combining business and leisure trips," he added.

The blend of guests has been helped by a recent increase in visitors from other emirates in the UAE, with Fujairah popular among families from Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah as a weekend break destination to escape the hustle and bustle of the bigger cities.

"There's so much on offer in Fujairah, so as corporate guest numbers drop slightly over the summer months leisure guest numbers increase, especially around Ramadan, so we've a healthy occupancy rate all year due to the diversity of the emirate," said Mr Tohme.

Coral Residence Tower, Fujairah's location is ideal to explore the east coast of the UAE, with miles of secluded and unspoiled beaches to find close by, and the contrast of the Hajar mountains waiting to be enjoyed if a little more adventure is craved. There are many Arabian castles to visit, including the Fort of Fujairah which gives a wonderful insight into the history of the region. Oman is also a short drive away, leading to yet more Middle Eastern treasures.
