A New Year gift for Sri Lankans from E-Vision

'TV Lanka', the first ever Sri Lankan global digital satellite television channel, has joined the network of E-Vision, the UAE's only digital cable TV provider.

E-Vision has said that the addition of the 24-hour channel is a 'gift' to all Sri Lankans in the UAE on the occasion of their New Year festival that falls on April 14.

'TV Lanka' will be available on E-Vision on channel 48 as part of the Basic Packages that comprises over 80 channels available in 16 different channels.

According to Humaid Rashid Sahoo, Chief Executive Officer, E-Vision, the new addition is yet another example of the company's dedication and commitment to bringing viewers everything they are looking for.

Broadcasting from Sri Lanka, TV Lanka will have a dedicated 12 -hour live transmission on April 14 to present special programmes on the occasion of this festival that is seen as the largest event in the Sri Lankan calendar.
