DMI honours 13 employees

Dubai Media Incorporated (DMI), one of the pioneering media organizations and creative services group in the Middle East, announced it honoured 13 employees for successfully completing the first training module from the internal excellence programme that forms part of DMI's preparations for its participation in the 13th Dubai Government Excellence Program.

Held at the Training Centre in the DMI headquarters, the awards ceremony was attended by Faisal Abdulla, Board Member, DMI; Abdullatif Al Gergawi, Manager of Dubai TV; Rashid Amiri, Manager of Dubai Sports; Darwish Abdulla, Manager of Dubai Racing, and a number of channel and department managers and employees.

His Excellency Ahmad Abdulla Al Shaikh, Director of the Media Office, Board Member and Managing Director of DMI, and Media Escort to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, said: "I would like to congratulate the winners on passing the first module of the Government Excellence Program. This comes in line with our role in supporting the Dubai strategy, and in enhancing the position of DMI as the region's leading information and media platform through creating new ideas and supporting innovations within the media framework."

"We are firmly committed to developing our media and professional talents as part of our deep belief that the power of DMI lies within its staff whose capacity we must build for achieving excellence and assuming leadership positions."

Najlaa Al Bloushi, Moqbel Al Labban, Essam Al Khamri, Anas Al Taher, Maher Moghrabi, Ziad Shayban, Fatima Al Thaheri, Mahmoud Ibrahim, Tarek Bin Tamim, Amal Al Halyan, Mohammed Al Azab, Marwan Al Hill, and Haifa Al Zarouni, were among the 13 employees honoured by Faisal Abdulla during the ceremony.

Ahmad Al Shaikh added:
"This occasion is a good reminder about the exceptional rank we have achieved as providers of high quality media services, complementing DMI's performance in the last Dubai Government Excellence Program as the second place winner in the customer satisfaction category."
